New Delhi, January 12, 2026: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has received board approval to acquire land at the Khoraj Industrial Estate from the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) to expand its production capacity.

The company currently operates an annual production capacity of approximately 2.4 million units across its Gurugram, Manesar, Kharkhoda, and Hansalpur facilities. The total cost of land acquisition, development, and preparatory activities has been approved at ₹4,960 crore, with funding expected to come through a combination of internal accruals and external borrowings.
