New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is pleased to announce that its Managing Director, Dr. Vikas Kumar, was felicitated as a ‘Sustainability Champion’ by the Department of Community Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi in presence of Dr. Poonam Narang, Dean, MAMC and other senior officials.
The honour was conferred during a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event titled “Green and Healthy Transportation Systems”, organised on the occasion of World Environment Day.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vikas Kumar said, “It is a privilege to be recognized by one of the country’s leading medical institutions for our collective efforts at DMRC. Promoting sustainable transportation is not only an environmental responsibility but also a public health necessity.”
