Shri Naveen Srivastava Honoured with “Global Icon in Sustainability Leadership of the Year 2025” at GEEF Summit
In a significant recognition of leadership in India’s power transmission sector, Shri Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations), has been conferred with the “Global Icon in Sustainability Leadership of the Year 2025” award at the Global Sustainable Development Summit 2025, organised by the Global Energy & Environment Foundation (GEEF).
New Delhi: In a significant recognition of leadership in India’s power transmission sector, Shri Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations), has been conferred with the “Global Icon in Sustainability Leadership of the Year 2025” award at the Global Sustainable Development Summit 2025, organised by the Global Energy & Environment Foundation (GEEF).
The prestigious award was presented by
H.E. Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, Ambassador, Embassy of Denmark in New Delhi;
Shri U. P. Singh, Former Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Jal Shakti, and Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India.
The honour acknowledges Shri Srivastava’s transformative contributions to the power transmission sector, particularly his efforts in advancing sustainable, efficient, and future-ready operational strategies.
During the summit, Shri Srivastava also delivered a compelling Industry Keynote Address on “India's Sustainable Green Revolution.” His address highlighted India’s accelerating transition towards green energy, the role of advanced transmission systems, and the strategic importance of integrating sustainability into national infrastructure goals.
