Hindustan Zinc Signs MoU with CMR Green Technologies for Zinc Alloy Manufacturing at Zinc Park, Rajasthan
Rajasthan, March 10, 2026: Hindustan Zinc Limited (BSE: 500188, NSE: HINDZINC), the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CMR Green Technologies Ltd., India’s leading non-ferrous metal recycling company, to establish a zinc alloy manufacturing facility at Zinc Park, Rajasthan.
This marks the second major partnership for Zinc Park, following an earlier MoU with Tripura Group, further positioning the park as India’s first integrated ecosystem for zinc-based industrial applications.
About the Partnership
Under this MoU, CMR Green Technologies will set up a high-quality, low-emission zinc alloy facility, catering to industries such as automotive, infrastructure, die-casting, and consumer goods. The project will enable downstream value addition of zinc, promote sustainable metal processing, and support India’s self-reliance in industrial materials.
Zinc Park, developed jointly by Hindustan Zinc and RIICO (Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation), is designed as a renewable energy-powered industrial hub with proximity to Hindustan Zinc’s Chanderiya, Dariba, and Debari operations, ensuring seamless logistics and raw material supply. The park aims to host MSMEs and large-scale enterprises in galvanizing, die-casting, zinc oxide production, and related applications.
