NRL Wins Top Honours at CII Digital Transformation Awards and DX Summit 2025
Numaligarh Refinery Limited wins two major honours at the CII Digital Transformation Awards and DX Summit 2025 in New Delhi. SAROTHI and its AI-enabled operational excellence system secure top innovation awards.
New Delhi: Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) achieved national recognition at the seventh edition of the CII Digital Transformation Awards and DX Summit 2025 held in New Delhi on 3 December 2025. Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry, the event celebrates organisations that demonstrate excellence in digital transformation, technology-driven innovation, and business impact.
NRL stood out for its forward-looking digital initiatives and was recognised by both the Jury and Grand Jury after a rigorous multi-level evaluation process. Two of its technology-driven solutions received top honours at the Innovative Solution Awards.
The solution SAROTHI, a unified digital platform for end-to-end CSR lifecycle management, earned the award under the Innovation in CSR category. Another initiative, the AI-enabled Smart Parking, Access Control and Safety Compliance System, implemented at the NRL Marketing Terminal, was awarded under the Innovation in Operational Excellence category.
These achievements reflect NRL's commitment to driving efficiency, transparency, and sustainability through digital innovation. They also highlight the growing role of public sector enterprises in adopting transformative technologies and setting new benchmarks across industries.
The awards were received by an NRL team led by Dr. Kajal Saikia, Senior Chief General Manager (HR and Legal), along with officials from the organisation. The recognition marks another milestone in NRL’s journey toward digital excellence.
