Bank of Baroda Inaugurates Surat Zonal Office, Bardoli Regional Office and Phygital Branch
New Delhi: Bank of Baroda strengthened its regional footprint in Gujarat with the inauguration of the new Surat Zonal Office premises, the Regional Office for the Bardoli Region, and a Phygital Branch at VIP Road, Surat on 14 May 2026. The move reflects the bank’s continued focus on customer-centric banking services and regional growth.
The Surat Zonal Office was inaugurated by Shri Lalit Tyagi, Executive Director of Bank of Baroda, in the presence of Shri K. K. Singh, General Manager and Zonal Head, Surat Zone. Senior bank officials including Shri Nirmal Patel, Deputy General Manager (Compliance & Assurance); Shri Bharatkumar Chavda, Deputy General Manager (Business Development); Shri Jagjit Kumar, Deputy General Manager (ZIAD); and Shri Mukesh Naval, Deputy General Manager and Regional Head, Surat City Region, along with local dignitaries, attended the ceremony.
During the visit, Shri Lalit Tyagi also inaugurated the new Regional Office premises for the Bardoli Region and the Phygital Branch at VIP Road, Surat. The ceremony was attended by Shri K. K. Singh, General Manager and Zonal Head, Surat Zone, and Shri Mednikant Jha, Regional Head, Bardoli Region.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Lalit Tyagi highlighted the bank’s continued emphasis on modern, fast and convenient banking services. He noted that strengthening operational capabilities and enhancing customer experience remain key priorities as the bank expands its services across the region.
The new offices and Phygital Branch are expected to enhance service delivery, promote digital banking adoption and support the growing banking needs of customers across the Surat Zone, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to innovation and seamless banking services in Gujarat.
