Bank of India informs exchanges about UFBU strike calls on September 11, September 28–30 and continuous strike from October 26, 2026.

Bank of India Strike 2026: UFBU Announces Strikes From September 11

Mumbai: Bank of India has informed the stock exchanges that the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has served a strike notice.

UFBU, consisting of seven unions — AIBEA, AIBOC, BEFI, NCBE, AIBOA, INBEF and INBOC — has decided to go on strike on the following dates:

11 September 2026
28 to 30 September 2026
Continuous strike from 26 October 2026

The Bank has stated that it is taking all necessary steps to ensure smooth functioning of its branches and offices on the strike days. However, in the event the strike materialises, the functioning of branches and offices may be affected.

The disclosure has been made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
