Mumbai, March 4, 2026: ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited has acquired shares worth ₹0.40 billion (₹400 crore) in Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) on March 4, 2026, as part of its routine investment operations.

Following the latest transaction, ICICI Lombard’s cumulative shareholding in RIL stands at 0.03%, the company disclosed under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations.

The insurer clarified that the acquisition was executed in the ordinary course of its investment function and does not qualify as a related party transaction.
