New Delhi: Reserve Bank India today approved the re-appointment of Mr. Rakesh Jha as Executive Director of the Bank for a period of two years from September 2, 2025 to September 1, 2027.

Who is Rakesh Jha, Executive Director, ICICI Bank Limited
Mr. Rakesh Jha is an Executive Director on the Board of ICICI Bank Limited. He is responsible for the retail, small enterprises and corporate banking businesses of the Bank. He is the Chairperson of the Board of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, ICICI Home Finance Company Limited and ICICI Securities Limited. He also serves on the Board of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited.
He has been with ICICI since 1996 and has worked in various areas. He was the Group Chief Financial Officer in his previous role.
He has a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
