RBL Bank Leadership Change: Rajeev Ahuja Retirement, Deepak Ruiya Appointed Interim CFO

New Delhi: RBL Bank Limited today announced key leadership changes following its Board Meeting held on December 30, 2025.

The Board of Directors has accepted the request of Mr. Rajeev Ahuja, Executive Director, to retire from his position upon completion of his current term on February 20, 2026. Accordingly, Mr. Ahuja will cease to be the Executive Director and Key Managerial Personnel of the Bank with effect from February 21, 2026.

The Board expressed deep appreciation for Mr. Ahuja’s outstanding contribution during his long and distinguished association with the Bank. Since joining the management team in 2010, Mr. Ahuja has been instrumental in the transformation of the Bank from Ratnakar Bank to RBL Bank. He played a pivotal role in strengthening investor relations, raising capital, expanding the retail banking business, driving digital initiatives, and establishing the Bank’s Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform, making RBL Bank a pioneer in this domain.

In another important development, the Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Deepak Ruiya as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Bank with effect from December 30, 2025. Mr. Ruiya has been associated with RBL Bank for over ten years and previously served as Deputy CFO. He brings more than 22 years of experience in banking and financial services and will continue in this role until a new Chief Financial Officer is appointed.

The Bank also informed that Mr. Pushpendra Sharma, Head – Digital Banking Unit, has resigned to pursue opportunities outside the organization and was relieved on December 29, 2025. The Bank stated that there is sufficient leadership depth within the organization to ensure smooth continuity of digital banking operations.
