Ashish Goyal to join as Director General (Media) at Election Commission of India
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Election Commission of India for appointment of Shri Ashish Goyal, IIS (1996), presently working as Additional DG, National Museum under the Ministry of Culture as Director General (Media) (JS level), Election Commission of India, for an overall tenure of 5 years upto 30.04.2028 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by upgrading a vacant post of Director in the Election Commission of India, initially for a period of two years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post.
