Nagpur, September 9, 2026: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) CMD Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande visited Gokul OCM in the Umrer Area to review coal production targets and the action plan for achieving them.
During the visit, he appreciated the team's efforts under the Special Coal Dispatch Drive – Mission Mode initiative and felicitated employees who contributed to the liquidation of coal stock.

The CMD also reviewed coal-face planning and advised the Umrer team to prepare new proposals to support future production requirements.
He emphasised improving production while maintaining safety, efficiency and operational excellence.
