Adani Power Assigns 2500 MW MSEDCL RE RTC Contract to Powerpulse Trading
Ahmedabad, September 9, 2026: Adani Power Limited has informed the stock exchanges that it has assigned its 2500 MW Renewable Energy Round-The-Clock (RE RTC) power supply contract with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Limited (MSEDCL) to Powerpulse Trading Solutions Limited (PTSL).
Background
In April 2026, Adani Power had received a Letter of Award from MSEDCL for supply of 2500 MW RE RTC power for a period of 25 years from the Scheduled Commencement Date of Supply. The contract involves supply of power aggregated from various sources with minimum supply obligations, including a minimum ratio of renewable power.
Reason for Assignment
In view of Adani Power’s long-term plans to invest in capacity expansion in thermal, nuclear and international hydroelectric projects, the Company decided to transfer the rights and obligations under the LOA to PTSL.
PTSL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Energy Solutions Limited. The assignment has been done after securing the requisite approvals.
Company’s Statement
Adani Power said the transfer will allow it to focus on its core activity of baseload power generation under long-term arrangements to ensure steady revenue and predictable profitability.
The disclosure has been made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
