NHPC distributes aids & assistive devices amongst differently-abled persons under CSR
The beneficiaries had been identified during assessment camps conducted by Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India in collaboration with the Dept. of Social Welfare.

New Delhi: NHPC limited on Friday distributed the aids and assistive devices amongst differently-abled persons under CSR.
In a special camp organized under CSR by NHPC, Dr. Owais Ahmad, Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora (J&K) distributed various aids & assistive devices amongst differently-abled persons at the Office of Dept. of Social Welfare, Ajar, Bandipora (J&K) on 30.07.21.
During the camp 98 hearing aids, 24 walking sticks, 13 tricycles, 27 wheelchairs, 6 CP Chairs, 7 smart canes, 2 smartphones, 5 MR Kits, 3 rotators & 18 calipers were distributed amongst 122 differently-abled persons at a total cost of Rs 10.05 lakhs. The beneficiaries had been identified during assessment camps conducted by Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India in collaboration with the Dept. of Social Welfare.
