ONGC Extends Flood Relief in Assam; Supports 10,700 Families with ₹1.51 Cr Assistance
New Delhi / Assam, September 2026: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has extended significant support to flood-affected communities in Sivasagar and Charaideo districts of Assam through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) initiatives.
When floods disrupted lives across the region, ONGC prioritised standing with the affected communities at a time when support mattered most.
Key Highlights of the Relief Effort
ONGC provided food assistance to 10,700 flood-affected families with a total outlay of ₹1.51 crore.
Medical camps were organised at Bihubor, Nazira and Panbesa Village. Medicines worth ₹7.50 lakh were distributed to communities in need. The company also extended support to the Army Medical Camp at Nazira with additional medical supplies.
The relief effort is continuing with a planned medical camp at Changmai Village and distribution of 3,500 additional food kits, backed by a further outlay of ₹50 lakh, to strengthen assistance during the recovery phase.
