NTPC Ltd Pays ₹2,666.58 Crore Second Interim Dividend for FY26 | 33-Year Dividend Streak

New Delhi: NTPC Ltd., India’s largest power producer, has paid the second interim dividend of ₹2,666.58 crore for the financial year 2025‑26, representing 27.50% of the company’s paid-up equity share capital. The dividend was credited to shareholders on 25th February 2026, reinforcing NTPC’s long-standing commitment to delivering consistent returns.

In a formal event, Shri Gurdeep Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of NTPC, along with the Board of Directors, presented the dividend payment advice to Hon’ble Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, in the presence of Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), and other senior officials from the Ministry of Power and NTPC.

“This dividend reflects NTPC’s sustained profitability and focus on rewarding shareholders consistently,” said Shri Gurdeep Singh.

This marks the 33rd consecutive year that NTPC has distributed dividends, highlighting the company’s financial stability and robust performance. With an installed capacity exceeding 87 GW and ongoing investments in renewable energy, NTPC continues to support India’s growing energy needs while maintaining value for its shareholders.
