GAIL (India) Limited Announces Leadership Change; New CMD to Take Charge from March 1

New Delhi, February 28, 2026: GAIL (India) Limited has announced a change in its Chairmanship in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The Board has approved the appointment of Shri Deepak Gupta (DIN: 09503339) as Chairman of the Company with effect from March 1, 2026, subject to applicable approvals and regulatory requirements.

Shri Deepak Gupta is a Mechanical Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering (now Delhi Technological University) and brings over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) from PMI, USA. His experience spans project management, construction management, and business development across major hydrocarbon projects.

Subsequently, Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta (DIN: 07570165) will cease to hold the position of Chairman and Director of the Company with effect from March 1, 2026, following withdrawal of nomination by the competent authority. He will also cease to be a member of various Board Committees from the same date.

The Company has submitted the disclosure to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited for information and record.
