59 Employees Retire from Northern Coalfields Limited in February; Felicitated for Their Dedicated Service

New Delhi, March 1, 2026,Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) bid farewell to 59 employees who retired at the end of February, including 11 officers and 48 staff members, across its various projects and units. Felicitation ceremonies were organized at the headquarters and project sites to honor their contributions to the company’s growth and success.

Among the retirees from the NCL headquarters were senior officials such as Prateek Sinha, General Manager (Mining), Umakant Yadav, General Manager (Mining/Vigilance), and Nirmal Kumar Bhowmik, Chief Medical Officer, Central Hospital Singrauli. Additionally, dedicated employees including Ravindra Singh, Office Superintendent, CMC Department, and Bhuval Ram, Assistant Transport Supervisor, Director (Finance) Secretariat, were honored for their long-standing service.

During the ceremony, Manish Kumar, Director (Human Resources), NCL, congratulated the retirees and encouraged them to embrace this new phase of life. He advised them to lead a balanced and fulfilling life with their families, pursue unfinished dreams, and maintain a lasting connection with the NCL family.

Ashutosh Dwivedi, Director (Technical), NCL, also expressed gratitude on behalf of the company, acknowledging the retirees’ contributions to NCL’s progress and success. The retirees shared their experiences, reflecting on their journey with the organization.

In his farewell address, Prateek Sinha described NCL as a “banyan tree,” emphasizing the company’s enduring support and strength, while Umakant Yadav referred to NCL as a family that always cared for the individual needs of its employees. He encouraged the younger generation to continue driving the company forward.

Colleagues shared memories highlighting the retirees’ administrative skills, meticulous management, and amicable personalities, extending their best wishes for their future endeavors.
