Navratna PSU, SJVN Ltd announced the quarterly financial results of March-end where Net loss is reported at Rs 127.72 crore as compared to Net Profit of Rs 61.08 crore in Q4FY24. The Revenue from operations for Q4FY25 is standing at Rs 504.4 crore, up by 4.5% as against Rs 482.9 crore in Q4FY24.

Meanwhile, the total expenses stood at Rs 697 crore. The operating margin for Q4 is at -1.28% and net profit margin stood at -25.32%. With this, the shares of PSU company are plunged by 5.6% despite higher revenue.

During this financial year, the company has increased its shareholding in its Joint Venture, Cross Border Power Transmission Company Limited (CPTC), from 26% to 41.94% by acquiring 7730227 additional equity shares having face value of Rs 10/- each for Rs 1473 lakh.

Further, the Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.31/- per equity share for the financial year 2024-25 subject to the approval of shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting.

The final dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 1.15/- per equity share declared in the month of February 2025, for the Financial Year 2024-25, and will be paid within the statutory period as prescribed in the Companies Act, 2013.

Shares of SJVN Ltd are down by 5.79% at Rs 96.39 at the BSE. The stock has declined over by 15.44% in last six months and is continuously trading in bearish zone from last five days.
