CMPDI and MCL Sign MoA for Project Management Consultancy in Renewable Energy Projects
CMPDI signed an MoA with MCL to provide Project Management Consultancy for Renewable Energy projects, accelerating MCL’s Solar and Wind initiatives.
Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) on November 25, 2025, to provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for upcoming Solar and Wind Energy projects.
Under the agreement, CMPDI will act as the Project Management Consultant, delivering comprehensive end-to-end consultancy support including feasibility studies, bid document preparation, e-bidding assistance, technical evaluation, design review, execution supervision, and performance monitoring. The collaboration aims to accelerate MCL’s renewable energy expansion and strengthen its commitment toward Net Zero goals and carbon neutrality.
The MoA was formally signed by Shri Sanjib Agrawal, GM/HoD (Solar & Renewable Energy), MCL, and Shri Sudarshan Prasad, GM (E&M), CMPDI (HQ), in the presence of Shri G. Srinivas, RD (In-charge), RI-VII, CMPDI, and Shri L. L. Reddy, HoD (E&M), RI-VII, along with other senior officials of both organizations.
This partnership marks a significant step in advancing renewable infrastructure within Coal India subsidiaries, supporting India’s clean energy transition.
