HPCL signs MoU with Snap-E Cabs for HP e-Charge Facility
Both the organizations will jointly work on developing the EV charging ecosystem in HPCL Retail outlets in Kolkata and on major highways.

State-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) and Snap -E Cab E Cabs (a brand owned by EC Wheels India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Steelman Telecom Limited) entered into an agreement to make HP e-Charge facility available for Snap e Cabs through our HP e-Charge platform.
Both the organizations will jointly work on developing the EV charging ecosystem in HPCL Retail outlets in Kolkata and on major highways. Snap-E Cabs provides a reliable eco-friendly public electric transport service with its more 1200 EV cars plying in Kolkata.

This tie-up will allow Snap -E Cab E Cabs to access HPCL's EVCS network of 5100 chargers, which includes 2900 DC fast chargers through HP e-Charge platform.
The PSU is committed to facilitate the growing need of India’s EV charging and welcomes the Snap -E Cab E Cabs in most preferred public charging station network at HPCL Petrol Pumps spread across Eastern India.
