NTPC Renewable Energy signs MoU with Gujarat govt for Solar Power Project
The MoU was exchanged on 09th Oct 2025 during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference held at Mehsana, Gujarat.
Mehsana, 9 October 2025: NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Govt. of Gujarat for the development of solar parks and projects with a cumulative capacity of 10 GW and wind projects of 5 GW in the state.
The MoU was exchanged on 09th Oct 2025 during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference held at Mehsana, Gujarat.
The first-ever Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference has started in Mehsana in North Gujarat today. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has inaugurated the conference. The conference shares a focus on sectors including dairy and food processing, agriculture and agro-based industries, automobile components, engineering, renewable energy, and tourism. The initiative launched under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 aims to take the success of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to every region of the state.
