Amit Yadav to hold additional charge of Secretary in DEPWD on interim basis
The Competent Authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) to Shri Amit Yadav, lAS (AGMUT:1991), Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment from 23.06.2025 to 02.07.2025 during the period of absence on leave of Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, lAS(MH:1989).
Amit Yadav is a senior IAS officer from the 1991 batch of the Union Territories (UT) AGMUT cadre. He
was born on 2 November 1965 in Rajasthan and is currently 59 years old. He cleared the UPSC exam at the age of 25 and began his service on 15 September 1991.
He is presently serving as the Secretary in Department of Social Justice & Empowerment in New Delhi, overseeing key policies and initiatives in this important department.
