CONCOR Appoints Shri Harbrinder Singh Bajwa as Director (Domestic Division)

New Delhi, March 6, 2026: Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR), a Navratna CPSE and one of India’s premier multi-modal logistics companies, has announced the appointment of Shri Harbrinder Singh Bajwa (DIN: 11506675) as Director (Domestic Division) on additional charge, effective March 1, 2026.

The appointment follows orders from the Ministry of Railways and was formalized in a meeting of the Board of Directors held today. Shri Bajwa assumes responsibility for the domestic operations division in addition to his current role as Executive Director (Freight Marketing), Ministry of Railways, overseeing the Indian Railways’ parcel business, freight terminals, and private sector wagon investments.

Profile of Shri Harbrinder Singh Bajwa

Shri Bajwa is an officer of the 1996 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh (1995). With over 30 years of experience in operations, commercial management, and policy-making, he has served in multiple key capacities across Indian Railways and the Government of India, including:

Divisional Railway Manager of Khurda Division, East Coast Railway, India’s highest freight handling division.
Executive Director (Coal), coordinating coal movement with the Ministries of Power, Coal, and Shipping.
Ministry of Food & Public Distribution, managing foodgrain procurement and nationwide transportation.
Handling Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) logistics during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring timely delivery across the country.

Shri Bajwa has been involved in several inter-governmental committees related to coal, power, and logistics policy, reflecting his expertise in both operational and strategic aspects of rail freight and supply chain management.
