Gurugram, March 6, 2026: ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced the commissioning of the first phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited.

The first phase includes 33.335 MW / 160.48 MWh capacity, which is part of the company’s larger 300 MW / 1400 MWh BESS project located at Badi Sid village in Bap tehsil, covering areas of Phalodi and Jodhpur districts in Rajasthan.

Commercial Operations to Begin March 8

According to the company’s regulatory filing with BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited, the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the first phase has been scheduled for March 8, 2026.

The commissioning marks a significant milestone in ACME Solar’s efforts to strengthen energy storage infrastructure and support the integration of renewable energy into the power grid.

About the BESS Project

The large-scale battery storage project has a total planned capacity of 300 MW / 1400 MWh, designed to enhance grid stability, energy management, and renewable energy utilization.

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) play a crucial role in the renewable energy sector by:

  • Storing excess electricity generated from solar and other renewable sources

  • Supplying power during peak demand periods

  • Improving grid reliability and flexibility

With the commissioning of the first phase, ACME Solar has taken a step toward completing one of the major energy storage initiatives in Rajasthan’s renewable energy ecosystem.

Regulatory Disclosure

The company disclosed the development under SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, informing stock exchanges about the operational milestone.
