Diwakar Kaushik Assumes Charge as Regional Executive Director (North) at NTPC

New Delhi:  Shri Diwakar Kaushik has taken over additional charge as Regional Executive Director (RED), Northern Region HQ of NTPC, effective January 1, 2026. He continues to serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL) and earlier held the position of RED, Western Region-II, Raipur.

A Mechanical Engineer from NIT Kurukshetra, Shri Kaushik joined NTPC in 1987 as an Executive Trainee. He also holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from IGNOU. Over a career spanning 38 years, he has gathered extensive experience across operations, ERP, and IT, holding key leadership roles at NTPC Auraiya, Faridabad, Corporate Centre-EOC Noida, Dadri, Mouda, Simhadri, and Lara.

Shri Kaushik’s leadership at multiple power stations and corporate centers, along with his operational and technical expertise, is expected to strengthen NTPC’s Northern Region operations and contribute to its strategic growth and efficiency in the coming years.
