Dr Mythili Vutukuru, an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay has been appointed as Additional Director of the Karur Vysya Bank under Independent category.
New Delhi: Dr Mythili Vutukuru, an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay has been appointed as Additional Director of the Karur Vysya Bank under Independent category.
Her appointment is subject to approval of shareholders within a period of three months from the date of appointment

She obtained her B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras in 2004, and her MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA in 2006 and 2010 respectively. She worked in a startup in the telecommunication networking space after her PhD for a few years, before joining IIT Bombay.

Dr Mythili Vutukuru is an accomplished professor and researcher in the broad area of computer systems, with expertise in operating systems, computer networking, virtualization, and cloud computing.
