GRSE Appoints Cmde Sreekumar Srinivasan as Chief General Manager (Technical)

KOLKATA, May 27, 2026: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE), a leading Defence Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), has announced the appointment of Cmde Sreekumar Srinivasan, IN (Retd.) as its new Chief General Manager (Technical).

The appointment is effective from May 27, 2026, as informed by the company to the stock exchanges in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.

About the New Appointee

Cmde Sreekumar Srinivasan brings a distinguished career spanning service in the Indian Navy and technical expertise in naval architecture and shipbuilding.

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Tech in Naval Architecture & Ship Building from Cochin University of Science and Technology

• M.Tech in Corrosion Science & Engineering from IIT Bombay

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies

Background:
He joined the Indian Navy in 1997 and has held various key positions in the Warship Design Bureau, Naval Dockyards at Mumbai and Vizag, and the Directorate of Ship Production at IHQ.
