IRTS Officer R.N. Ranmung Deputed as Chief Regional Manager, IRCTC Guwahati for Three Years

Ministry of Railways deputes Shri R.N. Ranmung (IRTS) to IRCTC as Chief Regional Manager, Guwahati for a three-year term as per Railway Board order dated 26 Nov 2025.

The Ministry of Railways has approved the deputation of Shri R.N. Ranmung, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer and former Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM/RNY) of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), to Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) as the Chief Regional Manager (CRM), Guwahati.

According to the Railway Board order dated 26 November 2025, Shri Ranmung’s deputation will be for three years, effective from 3 March 2023 (AN), or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

As per the terms of deputation, the officer will receive pay and allowances as admissible in Railways, along with deputation (duty) allowance governed by the Ministry of Personnel and PG & Pensions guidelines. The order clarifies that special pay—if any—will not be included under deputation pay.

The remaining service conditions are detailed in the attached Annexure. For administrative and financial matters related to travelling allowance (TA), medical facilities, leave benefits, and group insurance, the Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), Northeast Frontier Railway, will act as the concerned authority.

The communication has been vetted by the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways and issued by Under Secretary Roshan Kumari Meena, Railway Board. Copies of the order have also been sent to senior officials, including the CMD of IRCTC and concerned departments within the Railway Board.
