Shri Manish Raj Gupta has taken charge as Director (Technical, Projects & Raw Materials) of Steel Authority of India Limited on 13th January, 2025. An accomplished professional with over three decades of experience in the steel industry, he has worked in various plants and units of SAIL while consistently demonstrating excellent technical expertise, operational excellence and leadership.
He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from MANIT Bhopal and started his career with SAIL in 1991 as a Management Trainee (Technical) at Durgapur Steel Plant.
