State-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has announced that Shri Rajneesh Narang, Director (Finance) has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective from 27th March 2025, in place of Shri K Vinod.
Further to our letter dated September 11, 2024 advising about the appointment of Shri K Vinod, ED - Corporate Finance as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective September 11, 2024, we now wish to advise that Shri Rajneesh Narang, Director - Finance has been appointed as CFO effective March 27, 2025 in place of Shri K Vinod, the filing stated.
Shri Rajneesh Narang was also earlier CFO of the company from March 22, 202,2 to September 10, 2024. Shri Rajneesh Narang is a Chartered Accountant and holds the position of the Director - Finance of the Company.

Mr. Rajneesh Narang has been the Director of Finance of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited since March 22, 2022. He also held the Additional charge of Director (HR) from May 2022 to April 2023 and the Additional charge of Chairman & Managing Director from September 01, 2024 to March 16, 2025.
A Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with a Master’s degree in Financial Management, Mr. Narang brings over three decades of rich and varied experience in the downstream oil sector. He has held various key challenging assignments in roles across Corporate Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, Margin Management, Marketing Finance, Budgeting, SBU Commercial, C&MD’s Office, and Refinery Project.
