RITES Appoints Shri Atul Singh as Government Nominee Director on Board

New Delhi: RITES Limited has informed stock exchanges about the appointment of Shri Atul Singh as a part-time Government Nominee Director on its Board, as approved by the Hon’ble President of India through the Ministry of Railways.

According to the regulatory filing submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the appointment has been made vide Ministry of Railways letter dated May 27, 2026.

Shri Atul Singh is currently serving as Principal Executive Director (Production Units/ Workshops & Innovation) in the Railway Board. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate and belongs to the Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) 1991 batch. He brings over 30 years of experience in Indian Railways and has also served on central deputation in the Ministry of Commerce between 2012 and 2017.

His appointment will remain effective for as long as he holds his current post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The company has confirmed that the appointee is not debarred from holding the office of director under any SEBI or regulatory order.

The company stated that necessary statutory compliances regarding the board appointment are currently being completed.
