Shri C. Satya Rama Krishna Elevated as Executive Director, NTPC Barh
Barh, Bihar: Shri C. Satya Rama Krishna, presently serving as Chief General Manager and Head of Project at NTPC Barh Super Thermal Power Station, has been elevated to the position of Executive Director in NTPC. The elevation recognizes his distinguished contribution to power generation, operations and maintenance excellence, and leadership across various NTPC stations over a career spanning more than three decades.
A Mechanical/Electrical power sector professional of the 1990 Executive Trainee batch, Shri Krishna joined NTPC on 26 October 1990 and has since held several key positions across major NTPC stations. An engineering graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a Post Graduate Diploma holder in Computer Science, he has built extensive expertise in thermal power plant operations, maintenance, fuel management, ash management and business leadership.

During his long and distinguished career, Shri Krishna served at NTPC Ramagundam, Kudgi and Talcher Kaniha, where he handled critical assignments in Operations, Fuel Handling and O&M functions. His vast operational experience, coupled with his commitment to safety, efficiency and business excellence, has significantly contributed to improved plant performance and operational reliability at the stations he served.
As Head of Project at NTPC Barh, Shri Krishna played a pivotal role in strengthening operational performance, promoting a culture of safety, improving stakeholder engagement and driving organizational excellence. Under his leadership, NTPC Barh continued its journey towards higher standards of operational efficiency, sustainability and community engagement. His people-centric leadership style, technical competence and strategic vision have earned him wide respect across the organization.
