DVC Organized State Level Painting Competition 2019
Kolkata: State level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation – 2019 was organized in Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Kolkata as per instruction of BEE, MOP, GOI on 14.11.2019.
The competition was divided into two groups that includes school students of Class IV, V & VI in Category-A and Class VII, VIII & IX in Category-B. Participants were the children of various schools located in the state of West Bengal. Prize distribution ceremony was held on the same day at DVC Towers in presence of Dr. Saumitra Mohan, IAS, Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal.
The winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd position of both the categories were given the prize of Rs. 50,000/-, Rs. 30,000/- and Rs. 20,000/- respectively. Consolation prizes of Rs. 7,500/- each were also distributed to 20 participants of this event.
Member (Finance & Secretary), DVC; Additional Secretary, DVC; Executive Director (Finance), DVC & Sr. JS & CPRO, DVC also graced the function. The winners of State Level Painting Competition-2019 of both the categories will participate in the National Level Painting Competition - 2019 on 12.12.2019 in New Delhi.
