NEW DELHI- BPCL Kochi Refinery wins the 'KMA Excellence Award for Innovative HR Initiatives in Manufacturing Sector'. Mr. Ajith Kumar K, Executive Director (Kochi Refinery), Ms. Sarah Thomas, Chief General Manager (HR), and Mr. Chacko M Jose, Executive Director (Operations) along with Team Kochi Refinery received the award from Mr. Srinivas V Dempo, Chairman (House of Dempo, Goa) & President (All India Management Association) and Ms. Rekha Sethi, Director General (AIMA) at the gala "KMA Awards 2023" in Kochi on 17 March 2023.
This recognition from the Kerala Management Association is for the innovative strategies in HR for 2021- 2022, which includes the strategic approach during the pandemic, the innovative digital shutdown and people management for the same, innovative strategies for HRD , talent development, effective communication, employee relations, learning and development, CSR, community connect and continuous facility and hospitality support for sustained operations of the Refinery.
