BPCL Receives Citation at SAKSHAM 2023
NEW DELHI- BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited) was honored for its unwavering commitment to energy conservation and achieving a Net Zero future by the Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) at the inauguration function of SAKSHAM 2023, a fortnight-long campaign that aims to highlight the adverse health and environmental impacts of increasing carbon footprints and encourage consumers to switch to cleaner fuels.
Shri Sanjay Khanna, Director (Refineries) of BPCL, received the citation on behalf of the organization from Shri Rameswar Teli, Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labour & Employment, in the presence of Shri Pankaj Jain, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG), and other officials from MOP&NG.
This recognition is a testament to BPCL's dedication to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

This highlights BPCL's efforts in creating awareness and promoting sustainable practices among the masses.
During the event, Shri Rameswar Teli, Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labour & Employment, also reviewed BPCL's Bharat Hi-Star Stove, which boasts a higher thermal efficiency of 74 percent compared to the normal LPG stoves available in the market.
