BVFCL CMD participates in Abhiruchi Sports Day

The event was organized by Namrup Star XI Sports Academy along with all the like minded sports association of Namrup in collaboration with Central Sports Association, Namrup.

New Delhi- Chairman & Managing Director of Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) Sh S.P Mohanty today (September 3, 2022) participated in the birth anniversary of Sh Bhogeswar Baruah, celebrated in Assam as “Abhiruchi (Abhiruchi meaning-Liking) Sports Day”.

Shri Baruah was the first Assamese to win gold at an international event. He is the first Assamese to get the Arjuna award.

Participating in the event, Shri Mohanty felicitated winners of various sports events and underscored the importance of sports for having sound & healthy mind & physique. “Sports can bring people together. It breaks down all barriers and builds up friendships”, he said during the event.

During the event other officials of BVFCL along with sports lovers of Namrup were present.
