CIL-NTPC Urja Private Limited & CCL signs MoU for Solar Power Project
As per the MOU, CNUPL will act as the Project Coordinator for the 20 MW Solar Power Project to be set up at Piparwar colliery area of CCL. NTPC Ltd. will be the Project Management Consultant for this project.
Kolkata: CIL-NTPC Urja Pvt. Ltd. (CNUPL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today with Central Coalfields Ltd. (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd. (CIL), at a function held at CIL Headquarters, Kolkata.
As per the MOU, CNUPL will act as the Project Coordinator for the 20 MW Solar Power Project to be set up at Piparwar colliery area of CCL. NTPC Ltd. will be the Project Management Consultant for this project.
Shri Debasish Nanda, Director (Business Development), CIL; Shri MK Singh, Chairman, CNUPL; Shri AP Singh, Director, CNUPL; Shri Amit Garg, Co. Secretary, CNUPL & NTPC and Shri B K Panda, CEO, CNUPL; attended this function physically at CIL-HQ, Kolkata, while Shri Ram Baboo Prasad, Director Technical (Operations), CCL; Shri Partha Mazumder, Director, CNUPL & RED (Coal Mining), NTPC; Shri Ashwini Kumar Tripathy, Director CNUPL & ED(OS)/RED(WR-II) designate, NTPC attended through virtual mode.
This is the second such assignment of Project Coordinator for CNUPL. First assignment is the 50 MW Solar Power Project being implemented in the Nigahi Mine of Northern Coalfields Ltd. (NCL), a subsidiary of CIL.
