Shri Bhola Singh, CMD, Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna company of the Government of India, visited the Jhingurda project of NCL on Friday and inspected it.

NEW DELHI- Shri Bhola Singh, CMD, Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna company of the Government of India, visited the Jhingurda project of NCL on Friday and inspected it. 
 
During the inspection of the project, the CMD reviewed the production, dispatch, future functioning of the project and gave appropriate guidelines to the officials.  
 
Jhingurda Project is the oldest mine of NCL and also has the thickest coal seam in Asia. The project is to produce and dispatch 2.03 million tonnes of coal in the current financial year. The project is producing and dispatching more coal than the target set so far.
