Hardeep Singh Puri reviewed status of GOBARdhan initiative
500 new Waste to Wealth plants are planned under the initiative for promoting circular economy & remediation of municipal waste, he stated.

New Delhi: Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum & Natural Gas reviewed the implementation status of the GOBARdhan initiative with secretaries of MoHUA, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas & senior officials of the two ministries.
He said the visionary initiative by PM Narendra Modi ji aims to transform Waste into Wealth, using a “Whole of Government” approach.

These will include 200 CBG plants, 75 in urban areas, 300 community or cluster-based plants, with an investment of Rs. 10,000 cr
