IAF concludes No 3 'Warfare & Aerospace Strategy Program'

New Delhi: Indian Air Force concluded the No 3 'Warfare & Aerospace Strategy Program' (WASP) with a capstone seminar held at AF Auditorium, New Delhi, today. The seminar was attended by Gen Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Defence Staff, Gen Manoj Pande, Chief of the Army Staff, senior officers from all three services, senior bureaucrats, aerospace power scholars and academia.

The theme of the seminar was 'India's Strategic Culture and Imperatives for Contemporary National Security'. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff, delivered the keynote address at the seminar wherein, he urged the participants to continue on the path of developing 'Strategic Thinking' and remain abreast with the evolving geo-political landscape.

For the first time, this edition of WASP saw participation of officers from Indian Army, Indian Navy as well as civil academia being trained with IAF officers. The graduates were awarded a PG Diploma in Strategic Studies by Rashtriya Raksha University.
