IOCL celebrates 63rd IndianOil Day
New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation today celebrates 63rd IndianOil Day, and Chairman of the company Mr. S M Vaidya in a special message said, This is the day to reflect on the tremendous honour and responsibility bestowed on IndianOil as the lead energiser of the nation. Energy independence is one of the most critical elements for any sovereign country.
In that sense, IOCians are no less than soldiers, he added.
Continuing his speech he said;
It is also a Day of gratitude. So let me salute the early IndianOil pioneers who laid the foundation of this energy behemoth. I also take this moment to say a big Thank You to the great IndianOil family – Our employees, channel partners, vendors, administrative agencies, the Government of India and other institutions who have been supporting us all through.
Above all, on behalf of all IOCians, I express my sincere gratitude to the IndianOil customers who enrich us - It is you who make Brand IndianOil special and eternal.
Let me also add that no matter in which corner of India you are at this very moment, #IndianOil has your back.
Every day,
We delight over three crore customers who visit our fuel stations, over 26 lakh households who receive Indane cylinders at their doorsteps, and the crew of over 2300 flights that we fuel, 16 thousand tank trucks travel almost 15 lakh kilometres to help IndianOil's POL products reach every nook and corner of the country, Our pipelines network transports over 133 thousand metric tonnes of crude oil and more than 93 TMT of products, Our refineries generate 20 Gigawatt hour captive power, Our Bitumen carpets 130 Kilometers of roads and highways in India.
We sell 8000 metric tonnes of petrochemicals, And, we extract around 15 thousand metric tonnes of oil from our assets! In other words, we are there for you. Always, everywhere".
