NSIC and Department of Industries and Commerce, Telangana Govt sign MoU
NSIC facilitates MSMEs with a set of specially tailored schemes to enhance their competitiveness. NSIC provides integrated support services under Marketing, Technology, Finance and other Support services.
In order to strengthen the MSME ecosystem in Telangana, TEJAS (Telangana entrepreneur Journey for Accelerating Success) was launched on August 28, 2024 by Signing an MOU between Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana and The National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC). NSIC is an ISO 9001:2015 certified Mini-Ratna Government of India Enterprise, under Ministry of MSME. The aim is to promote, aid and foster the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises in Telangana.

NSIC provides integrated support services under Marketing, Technology, Finance and other Support services. NSIC supports MSMEs with Raw Material Assistance, Bill Discounting, Single Point Registration, Digital Facilitation, Credit facilitation and also facilitate materials testing and provides skill development trainings in its training centres located in the country as one in Hyderabad, in order to cater to the needs of skilled manpower of MSME Sector and to build entrepreneurship.

The MoU was signed by Dr. G. Malsur, Director, Department of Industries and commerce, Government of Telangana and Sri K. Srinivas, in the presence of Sri D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for IT & Industries, Government of Telangana and Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, Chairman and Managing Director, NSIC. Also present on the occasion are Sri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Fin.), Sh. Ravi kumar CGM, from NSIC. New Delhi.
