NTPC anticipates 40MMT coal production target in FY25
State-owned NTPC Ltd aims to produce 40 million tonnes of coal from its captive mines this fiscal year, a 17% increase from FY24.

New Delhi: NTPC, the power generation company, has announced that it will be able to meet over 15% of its fuel requirement for its plants through in-house coal mining in the fiscal year 2025. In the fiscal year 2024, the company dispatched 34.15 million tonnes of coal, while producing 34.38 million tonnes.
