NTPC Auraiya is located at Dibiyapur in Auraiya district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The Power Plant is one of the gas-based power plants of NTPC.

The gas for the power plant is sourced from the GAIL HBJ Pipeline-South Basin Gas field. The source of water for the power plant is the Auraiya-Etawah Canal. NTPC Auraiya's Amla Amrit Project stands as a beacon of empowerment, supporting self-help group women in crafting amla products. Through skill development and community collaboration, these women are not only generating income but also promoting wellness, transforming a humble fruit into a symbol of prosperity and pride.

On the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day, the NTPC project glorifies ‘The Amla Alchemists,’ a captivating photo story that offers a glimpse into the daily lives of the women who are actively engaged in the Amla Amrit Project under CSR initiatives of NTPC Auraiya.

The Amla Amrit Project is being implemented under the leadership of Shri Jayadev Parida, who is the Head of Project (HOP) Auraiya. With his dedicated guidance, the project is expected to expand further and achieve even greater success in the future.
