NTPC Talcher Thermal Power Project has been awarded the prestigious International British Safety Council Award 2024. NTPC Talcher Thermal Power Project's AGM (Safety) Sanjay Kumar Gupta received this esteemed award from British Safety Council's Chief Executive Mike Robinson.
This honor and significant achievement highlight the strong commitment of the entire Talcher Thermal team to workplace safety for 200 employees and more than 1,500 workers at NTPC TTPP, a considerable challenge. NTPC TTPP won the award in the Merit Category, reflecting the plant's adherence to stringent safety, health, and environmental standards.

Goutam Deb, Executive Director and Head of Project at NTPC Talcher Thermal Power Project attributed this success to the continuous efforts of all departments in promoting educated teams and implementing necessary safety precautions.
