He is currently working as Director (Human Resources) in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).

New Delhi: Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Monday recommended the name of Mr. Pushp Kumar Joshi for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). He is currently working as Director (Human Resources) in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).
PESB interviewed these applicants in the selection meeting:

Mr. Pushp Kumar Joshi is Director – Human Resources of the Corporation effective 1st August 2012. Prior to this, he was holding key portfolios in Human Resources functions viz. Executive Director – HRD and Head – HR of Marketing Division.
Mr. Pushp Joshi is a Doctorate in Human Resource Management, Post Graduate in Human Resource Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and Bachelor of Law from Andhra University.
Moreover, Mr. Joshi can assume the charge of the post, after the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) nod.
