New Delhi– PFC observed “Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 " from October 28 to November 3, 2024, emphasising its operations core values of integrity, transparency, and accountability. The week commenced with Smt. Parminder Chopra, CMD, Smt. Simmi R Nakra, CVO, and PFC Directors administering the Integrity Pledge to officials, reinforcing their collective commitment to these principles.

As part of the week’s activities, renowned behavioural scientist Dr Naresh Kumar Rai conducted a workshop on "Ethics & Governance." The session focused on ethical governance practices, with Smt. Simmi Nakra emphasising the importance of ethical conduct and vigilance in PFC operations. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation, reflecting PFC’s dedication to fostering a culture of accountability. In a symbolic gesture of environmental stewardship, Smt. Parminder Chopra, CMD, Smt. Simmi R Nakra, CVO, and PFC Directors planted trees, signifying their commitment to integrity and care for the planet. Each tree serves as a reminder of the vigilance and accountability that guide the organisation’s actions. The Valedictory and Prize Distribution Ceremony, held on November 1st, marked the culmination of the week’s events.

Dr. Tripta Thakur, Director General of NPTI Faridabad, presided over the ceremony alongside PFC leadership. During the event, PFC launched several online portals, including the Vendors Grievance Redressal Portal and the Employee Grievance Redressal Portal, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and effective communication. Employees actively participated in a quiz on vigilance topics, and the Handbook on Vigilance was unveiled. Certificates were awarded to winners of various competitions and contributors to the PRAHARI magazine.

PFC remains steadfast in its mission to cultivate a culture of integrity and vigilance in all its endeavours, working towards a more transparent and accountable organisation.
