REC Limited Participates in High-Level CEO Forum on Power Distribution at Bharat Electricity Summit 2026
New Delhi, 2026: As part of the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, a high-level CEO Forum on Power Distribution was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Power. The forum focused on key issues related to the Draft National Electricity Policy (NEP) and explored the roadmap for India’s power distribution sector.
The session was chaired by Sh. Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), and moderated by Shri Alok Kumar, Director General of the All India DISCOMs Association (AIDA).
Prominent sector leaders, including Sh. Jitender Srivastava, CMD of REC Limited, and Sh. Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson of the Central Electricity Authority, actively contributed to the discussion, sharing valuable insights on improving efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in power distribution.
The forum highlighted a collective vision for a modern, resilient, and technologically advanced power distribution ecosystem, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between government bodies, utilities, and industry stakeholders.
