New Delhi, March 20, 2026: Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has announced the appointment of Rahul Agarwal as a Part-Time Government Director on its Board, following a directive from the Ministry of Railways.
The appointment, communicated through an official order dated March 19, 2026, has come into effect immediately. Agarwal replaces Prabhas Dansana, who previously held the position.
Background of the Appointment
Rahul Agarwal currently serves as Principal Executive Director (Traffic Transportation – Marketing) at the Railway Board. His appointment to the CONCOR Board reflects the continued representation of the Ministry of Railways in the strategic functioning of the company.
As per the terms of the appointment, he will serve in this role:

Until he holds his current position at the Railway Board, or

Until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier
